Ear Wax Removal / Cerumen Management
Professionally trained and certified Ear Wax Removal (erumen management) process will be determined after video-otoscopic examination of the ears. The patient can see their ear wax situation before and after the process.
We utilize various methods including but not exclusive to manual curettes, forceps, micro-
suctioning or Bionix syringing. Generally, curette and forceps are attempted first as not to
introduce any more material (i.e. water or oil) into the ear.
From beginning to the end, the process should be painless.
